AUSTRALIA GENERAL

 

Our stay with Stoddard and Noleen in Sydney afforded us a whole host of opportunities - some (like the trip up to the Blue Mountains, a trip to the Winelands, a day trip up into the Muogamarra Nature Reserve and a day out watching the start of the Sydney/Hobart Yacht Race), arranged by them - and a host of others that largely seemed to happen on the spur of the moment...........the incredible waterplane flight over Sydney Harbour and down to Bondi Beach - the opportunity to sail (and race) on Australia 21, an Americas Cup entrant - a fantastic day's drive up the Hawkesbury River, and a wonderful day spent with old school chum Leon de Pradines (now sadly deceased), and his wife Jenny up around Woy Woy.
