South African Afrikaans music at its very, very best. A stunning mix of blues, rock and traditional SA music by two extremely talented musicians at The Stage in Bathurst on the 19th April 2025. Dit was regtig wonderlik manne - baie, baie dankie dat julle hierdie uitstaande 'brand' musiek aan ons klein dorpie voorgestel het.

The 2025 Bathurst Agricultural Show was a raging success in every possible way. Attendance appeared to be considerably up on last year, and while we wait for the official figures let's be grateful for the beautiful weather and wonderful exhibits that the show attracted.

Yet again Kath McClelland, Paul Spence, Adrian Raman and their new Bassist Aidan Compton put on a magnificent evening of 60's and 70's music structured around Fleetwood Mac's output of the period. On the evening of Tuesday 1st April, 2025 Kath McClelland really blew the audience away with some magnificent renditions of music from the era. Bathurst is indeed extremely fortunate  to have Selena Grant bringing all these really great acts  to The Stage on the Village Green on such a regular basis - what would we now do without her?

What is there to say? Arno is the epitomy of the quintessential professional ... simply doing what he does best - being himself!  A quite remarkable evening of really good music performed impeccably as only this man can do. Thank you Arno.

Fresh out of the Czech Republic for a holiday back home with his lovely family in tow,  Gerald really wowed The Stage audience in Bathurst with some really cool Blues renditions and a magical handful of 'Family' songs. He is a remarkable guitarist and manages to paint a whole variety of musical colors with his mastery of his instrument. Be sure to catch him if you can

Luna Paige has constructed her music around a whole series of in-depth considerations of family, friends, love and animals, and the very important parts that each of these play in our lives.  Her songwriting and very beautiful voice blend to provide a most enjoyable musical dissertation on all things good and bad about this experience called life. An absolute joy in every respect - a show simply not to be missed.

Wren Hinds has a lyrical aura that surrounds all of his beautifully composed and poetic originals which kept the small audience at The  Stage in Bathurst entralled for his entire set. Joined after the break by his brother Aden with whom he had not played for a number of years - and entirely unrehearsed - the magic of their very early days as "The Hinds Brothers" fell automatically and beautifully into place.

A beautiful Bathurst evening in an really ethereal environment ... the most beautiful garden peopled by the most incredible concrete sculptures entirely from another realm - all complimented by some beautiful poetry and some of Kurt Stone & Selena Grant's music of Myth, Legend and Fantasy. Be sure not to miss it next time around.

What a powerful experiment! These two have been performing together with Kristo as Drummer and Kerry as Vocalist/Bassist for "Misery Loves Company" over the past three and a half years - now, with Kristo on guitar and various other instruments and Kerry on her brilliant Bass, they have put together a really magical show filled with a variety of covers - but more importantly - a whole bunch of really great originals penned individually and arranged together. A great musical experience.

A great show by Matt Vend  ably backed by old friend Aden Hinds at The Stage on the Village Green on Saturday 11th January 2025. Some very cool originals and a few covers to fill the gaps here and there. All in all a really fun show.
