GROUND ZERO

Our time spent in the shadow of this remarkable building - and during a highly emotional visit to the makeshift museum of that disastrous day was a highlight of our visit to NYC.

ONE WORLD TRADE CENTRE was nearing completion when we visited, but the entire complex provided a very moving experience which I believe  (and hope), will not be lost over time - irrespective of how long that period might be. The Museum was moving beyond description, and a look back at that tower from the New Jersey Turnpike as we left the city en route to Washington clarified it in no uncertain terms as a 'finger' in the face of a hostile world out there ............ "Don't try this again."
